MARMOX Board SoundBoard – CS1 –
impact sound insulating
The special feature of MARMOX Board PRO – CS1 is the elastic foam rubber layer, that provides impact sound properties.
The value of impact sound reduction depends considerable from construction of the substructure and the flooring material:
substructure (e.g.: wooden beam or concrete ceiling)
flooring material (e.g.: cermaic tiles, vinyl flooring, carpet)
Test reports are available upon request.

Installation
01.The substrate should be levelled, oil- and dust free, dry and stable. It’s important to install the edge insulating strips carefully. MARMOX Board PRO – CS1 have to be laid out with staggered joints, the foam rubber at the bottom side.
02. Cover the joints with a self adhesive tape to avoid the risk of leakage for later applied glue or self levelling compound. Apply a glass fibre mesh (e.g.: 10 x 5 mm) on the total area, embedded into flexible cement based tile adhesive.
03. Option: the application of a 4 mm thick cement based self levelling compound on the prepared floor will increase the efficiency of impact sound reduction.
04. Ready for the application of flooring material (e.g.: vinyl flooring, tiles, carpet, laminat).
